Explore the best of Hampstead dining.
The Hampstead dining options will make you drool. You name it, you’ll find it all just a few short blocks away from our apartment — Japanese, Mexican, Italian, English, Kosher, Thai, Mediterranean, and much, much more. And add to that plenty of picturesque outdoor dining options to elevate your culinary experience!
Across the street from our apartments you’ll find three delicious restaurants. Satisfy your craving for Asian-inspired delights at Dim-T, duck into 28 Church Row for a menu blending Spanish and Italian flavours into tapas-sized plates, or stop into a popular newcomer to town, Heath Street Kitchen, which offers inventive dishes, craft beers, and a wide selection of international wines, open late into the night.
Stroll the neighborhood, and read the many tempting menus. Grab a table at the inventive wood oven pizzas at L’Antica Pizzeria. Feast Italian style at Villa Bianca. Delight in upscale Argentinian grass-fed steaks at Gaucho. Prepare to be wowed by Jin Kichi’s izakaya-style menu, offering sushi, noodles, and yakitori. For a globally inspired all-day bar and kitchen set in a gorgeous pink and green room with light pouring in through a retractable glass roof, try Oak and Poppy. Delicatessen offers extremely tasty Kosher food, and just next door you'll find Roni's - perfect for breakfast, brunch and fresh bagels.

Looking for cafe-type fare, check out The Coffee Cup, the ever-popular Gail’s Bakery, and the Danish chain of Ole and Steen. Just minutes from our apartments, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a variety of options to buy ingredients or prepared dishes. Two local reasonably-priced grocery chains, Tesco and Sainsbury's, are steps away and offer a wide range of groceries, liquor, and supremely-tasty prepared dishes.
Down the block is the quaint Hampstead Community Market (check dates and times), with stalls selling cheese, fruit, vegetables, fish, flowers, and so much more. Craving top-notch deli, head to Giacobazzi's. Step into Bread Ahead Bakery for some expertly baked goods. And for gourmet groceries, stroll the aisles of our other favorites, Artichoke and Planet Organic.
And to complete your meal, remember to pick up a bottle or two of wine at Jeroboams.
It wouldn’t be a vacation in Hampstead without tasting some of the best Coffee London offers.
Kickstart your day surrounded by locals around the corner on Perrin’s Court Lane, an adorable pedestrian walkway adorned with cafes. On this narrow lane, grab an outdoor table at Ginger & White for brekky (what the English call breakfast) and a perfect flat white (oat or regular). The coffee is smooth and hits the spot!
Another great place to sip coffee or tea is on the top floor of Waterstones bookstore. The vibe is welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot to log onto your computer or read a magazine.
And for the quirkiest, distinctly British-feeling cup of joe, hit up Kape Barako, a micro coffee shop operating out of a bright red London telephone box. You have to see it to believe it.
Join the locals lined up at Venchi, known for its delicious chocolate and artisanal Italian gelato. Another top spot to satisfy your gelato craving is Oddono’s, where fresh batches are whipped up daily at their South Kensington laboratory.
And an absolute must in Hampstead is joining the locals queuing on Hampstead High Street at La Creperie. This neighborhood stand has a cult following. Your hardest decision of the day will be debating between a sweet or savory crepe!
Surround yourself in all the beautiful nature Hampstead has to offer.
A huge perk of making Hampstead your “home away from home” is the proximity to gorgeous green nature. Each day during your stay, you'll be tempted to traverse new directions. Whether you walk, run, skate, or bike, the hamlet of Hampstead’s beautiful scenery begs to be explored.
During your visit, make time to meander through the expansive and verdant Hampstead Heath. Perhaps go for an open-air swim in the Hampstead Heath Bathing Ponds. If you prefer to swim in a pool rather than a pond, visit the Parliament Hill Lido, built in 1938 for enjoyment by the townspeople.
Ascend to the park’s peak at Parliament Hill for one-of-a-kind skyline views of London and the picture-perfect spot for a picnic. Be sure to stroll the beautiful Golders Hill Park, and animal lovers will enjoy its zoo.
